Ingredients
Scale
- 1 batch of homemade or store-bought pizza dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced
- 8 slices of ham
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle approximately 12×16 inches.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise, then spread it evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer the ham slices evenly over the mustard mixture, followed by the Swiss cheese and sliced chicken breast.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the top for added flavor.
- Starting from one long side, gently roll the Stromboli into a log, tucking in the ends to seal.
- Transfer the Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet seam-side down. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- If desired, sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Allow the Stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
